What if it rains during my track day?

We will get wet.  🙂  Seriously, we run our events rain or shine.  While everyone prefers a dry track day, the main purpose of our track days is to teach you how to handle your motorcycle better.  If you’re out riding on the street and it rains, do you park your bike and walk home?   Of course not.

When it rains on the street, you don’t see cars and motorcycles crashing all over the place.  This is because roads still have plenty of traction even when they are wet.  A huge part of what we teach at Cyclesmith is how to manage the available traction.  Whether it’s wet or dry, there is only so much traction available.  This means the exact same riding techniques work wet or dry.

A wet track day, or even a few wet sessions, can teach you a great deal about handling your motorcycle in wet conditions.  Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be amazed at just how much traction is still available.
