New York Safety Track
Located near Oneonta, New York Safety Track opened in 2013. This 2.1 mile track boasts an uphill (or downhill) front straight that doubles as an airplane landing strip. With 18 corners, it can be run in both directions and our event does just that. It has 450 feet of elevation changes including wheelie hill. This track also provides rental equipment. General Info, Entry, Parking and Camping
- Camping is allowed and you can arrive after 6:30 pm the night before the event
- PARKING: See photo below. You can park in the lot to the left of the entrance and up the hill about a halfway and then down the hill. The yellow circle is where staff and vendors park so please refrain from parking there.
- The gate is NOT open all night. Gate times are 6:30 am to 10 pm.
- Full bathroom and shower facility
- There are no garages, so you will pit on an open lot. Bring a canopy if you have one, but be sure to have a way to secure it.
- No electric available
- FOOD: Breakfast and Lunch are available from the shack
- GAS: There is no gas available at the track. There are stations within 10 miles of the track.
- HOTELS: If you prefer not to camp, please see the tracks suggested hotels.
- QUIET HOURS: We ask that you not run your generator from 10pm-7am.
